Mark Twain once said,
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt”.
Although this quote may have it’s purpose in life, as all quotes do, I must express that I absolutely and completely disagree with it’s meaning. One should never fear to speak, nor should one ever fear to listen, in the fear of judgment. We are meant to be judged and it is with being judged that we learn how to grow and adapt to make the very best versions of ourselves. We must not fear that others think of us as fools, but instead, we must embrace our foolishness because it is only a fool who can see the world through the eyes of a creator, adventurer, dreamer.
